I need to see what happenes to bella and edward

New one comes out Nov 20th.

My wife has read all of the books and says you won't find out what happens to them for about another 4 movies...
I got drunk
and
went to the beach with jess, a buddy of mine and his wife
we all three knew nothing of edward
then
we went to the store for beer and wine and breakfast fixin's
when we got back to the beach house there was a "twilight" movie in the bag
curious we popped it in the DVD player
cuz for realz who doesn't like a vampire movie?
now
it is a disease much like vampirism
Jess has all 4 books and I will end up watching the next movie
because I am weak

Nothing happens! The writer is LDS and nothing happens. A student once called Twilight gay. It would have been better with gay vampires. That said, I did read all 4 books. I had to know how it happened.

If you want some good vampire books, there's a number out there. If you want something in that vague fiction vein, (oh terrible pun) but not necessarily vampires - look up Jim Butchers Dresden Files

I just remembered this thread and had to provide my input.
I read the book because I was curious about all the hype. When I was done, I reached the conclusion that Democracy is no longer a viable form of government in America. A police state is needed if the country is to be saved from its own stupidity.

I agree with Yuu, these books were obviously written for adolescent girls, who have always been and will always continue to be, the lowest common denominator of societal standards. Puberty is tough. Fine. Decent excuse. The popularity growth beyond the intended audience is disturbing. Do these people ever stop to think the are putting money in the pockets of a talent-less excuse for a story-teller (much less a writer) and thus, setting off a downward spiral that places these books in "mainstream literature" on the same racks that Hemingway and Fitzgerald once filled?! Terrifying.
