QuoteLONDON - Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone faced criticism from politicians and Jewish groups Saturday after being quoted as saying that Adolf Hitler "got things done."
In an interview with London's The Times newspaper, Ecclestone expressed a preference for "strong leaders," citing former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Max Mosley, outgoing head of Formula One's governing body, as examples.
He was quoted as saying that democracy "hasn't done a lot of good for many countries â€" including this one."
first of all, who the hell is malcolm?
secondly, bernie said that (women/white/appliances) like 4 years ago...
about the hitler/saddam stuff? nothing nobody hasn't said before.
i did think this was amusing, though:

Ecclestone also noted that his friend and FIA president Max Mosley, would make a good Prime Minister for the United Kingdom.
"Max would do a super job. He's a good leader with people. I don't think his background [as the son of Sir Oswald Mosley, the leader of the British Union of Fascists] would be a problem."
gimmie a little slack, i was reading something else and was thinking malcolm campbell!
sorry you're not impressed, derb, but it's not a derby [laugh]
I agree with his Iraq comment, though. I don't think anything is wrong with that.
I would attempt to discredit his Iraq/Nazi Germany comparison, but it would fall squarely into politics.
I'd rather have crazy nuts saying it out loud than closeting it.
