What is the female equivalent?

"Misandry (IPA [mɪ.ˈsæn.dri]) is the hatred of men. The word comes from misos (Greek μίσοÏ,, "hatred") + andras (Greek ἀνδραÏ,, "man"). Although misandry is sometimes confused with misanthropy, the terms are not interchangeable, since the latter refers to the hatred of humanity. An idea related to misandry is androphobia, the fear of men (male humans), but not necessarily the hatred of them."

ah ha!

thank you

I appreciate it

at work my partner is known as a misogynist to the nth degree

some of the other crews were wondering what the female version was

the only answer that came up was

"Lesbian"

this was proposed by the lesbian crew

they found their answer to be high-larious

All my best friends are men.  My bff is a Medford (male) Fighterfighter.

I guess I get my my lesbian card taken away.

Our crew is split pretty evenly with

a younger happily-embrace-diversity-liberal crowd

and

An older generation hater-of-all-things-they-consider-deviant-conservative crowd

The shift change conversations are rather entertaining

although

somebody is going to get fired one of these days

that will be entertaining as well i suppose

yeah, misandry is a not too common word (firefox is saying it's misspelled). It's kind of like people thinking of polygyny when they think of polygamy, but it's rare to think of polyandry.

I kinda miss anthropology class.
