Title: Need a measurement off of an S2R800
Post by: Speeddog on July 10, 2009, 03:45:07 PM
Can you measure from the inside face of the right side passenger peg bracket to the edge of the tire?

I'm repairing a bent frame bracket, and I don't happen to have another S2R at hand to measure from.

I've got it to where it looks right, measures 5 3/8", but I'd rather not weld it till I'm more sure...

I have a S2R 800, Give me about 20 mins and I'll go and pop the bracket back on the bike and I'll measure it up for you.

It's 2:25 am here, but I can never resist a challenge....

5 3/8 it is! If that measurement is off, it would have to be less than 1mm wider than 5 3/8.

BTW, my Termis are very close to the bracket, so 1-2mm wider than 5 3/8 wouldn't be wrong. YMMV

Awesome, thanks all!   [beer]

I'm surprised they're all so close, considering how long the passenger peg is.
Ducati Quality Control is better than I thought.  ;D
