I hate all of you that can watch this. :P
But seriously...enjoy it for those of us who can't.
Is anyone a tech geek and can record that stuff ?
I could host it somehwere if you can share it
I can record it, but haven't found a way to pull it off my DVR(Cable Box)

VCR?
*gasp!*
HD and VCR don't mix
I'll video the TV with my camera and dowmload it it 12min segment's. ;D
you can't record at all?
I mean, obviously it wouldn't be all fancypants, but is there no way to just record what it is you're playing back on tellie?
Because of DRM there is no way to get even a low resolution version of HD onto a VCR. It may be possible with some kind of hax0r mods to the cable box, but they don't make it easy
ah...
I'm TiVo'ing it, but there's no way to get it off there that I know of.
fasterblkduc -- you can probably catch it at a local bar. Channel 412 @ 8pm.
If you have a PC you can download software from Tivo.

The HD footage is spectacular. [thumbsup]

Is there no direct feed that can be watched on your computer ?
I would think some body is feeding it live over the net .
Dolph :)
That was fantastic - rarely get to see moto racing in HD.
Can't material for most DVR's be transferred to hard drives?

I'm sure someone here with a shirt pocket full of pens and pencils can answer that. :D

That works for non-HD tivo. HD shows have DRM that prevents them from being shared online.
either way, Isle of Man HD was awesome. That slowmo footage was just ridiculously cool.

yup...
and for those of you with racing-underground accounts, somebody has already done the hard part for ya.

That's that 1,500 frame per sec camera. :o Amazing.

SOME hd shows have the do-not-copy flag set... give it a whirl and see what happens.
i've never had a problem downloading any programs, hd or not, from my tivo.

Don't have one *gasp!*
oh, c'mon... there's gotta be a betamax layin' around someplace... way over in the back on the left?
can't someone put this up on a server? i have friends with server space if needed..
but i missed recording it, and i don't have the HD tivo, just the series 2 with usb
i really wanted to have a viewing party too, so can someone let me know if it can be "acquired" ?! kplsthx
LOOOOOOOOVE the hd Isle of Man!! [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
Thanks for the heads up [thumbsup] just set the 'ole DVR to record the series
Verizon Fios ROCKS [cheeky]
Missed it, rescheduled to record it at midnight though...
I liked Bradly Smith's face when they told him about going 6th gear flat out through the bend. IOM is definetly more ballsy than any other road racing around.
Well..I hate to beg but has anyone an invite for Racing Underground laying around ?
In this part of the world its just impossible to get into the HD theater and I really would loooove to see that stuff.
thanks in advance
The Dainese Superbike TT race. 9pm est. Tonight. [thumbsup]
I have to agree, the footage being shown on HD Theater is amazing.
Nothing better than slow motion HD! [bacon]
It's too bad I missed the sidecar race. That would have been neat to watch in HD.

I haven't seen it air yet. The original schedule is subject at best.
The sidecar races were last week. They had ok coverage. There seems to be a lot of fluff and a bit of racing...

According to the schedule, there is Side Car race 2 on the 17th.
The past episode, on the 20th. Was a rain out with bits and pieces of pratice from other days.
Incredible footage from the Supersport TT tonight. [thumbsup]
140mph plus, and both wheels off the ground. [evil]
Isle of Man = Awesome! I have to wonder about the sidecars, though...great to watch, but I can't imagine how many [drink] it takes to sign up for that one.
IOM TT is the Ultimate .
I can't imagine how big your balls have to be to race that Course at those speeds !
Dolph... :)
I watched the Supersport tonight... It's crazy watching them avoid tankslappers and wheelies coming over those ridges at 100+ mph. Seriously those guys have way more intestinal fortitude than I. Great racing though. I love the part in the commentary where they reference that the helicopter can't keep up with the bikes. It just catches up by cutting the corners. :o
Love watching this stuff. It's too bad they don't broadcast any of the other Irish Road Racing races over here. Some of those are just as nuts.
i was watching last night. i was on the edge of the freaking couch watching them.
my g/f didn't quite understand until she realized how fast they were going when they went airborne.

I loved the slo-mo frames of the riders going airborne. I'm guessing that steering dampers are absolutely mandatory. [laugh]
I also noted that there's an episode of Twist the Throttle that's focused on Ducati. I'm set to record that, too. [thumbsup]

haha, i watched them both last night.
though really all i wanted to do was turn up the sound and close my eyes.
i love the sound a duc makes.

Yeah, I caught that episode of Twist the Throttle last night, 10 to 11 pm PST. It was cool. Made me want to get out and ride.
Was it just me, or did the "Tea" segment from last week with Guy Martin seem like a comedy routine with Guy Ritchie holding up Cue cards?
