Title: Relocating to Raleigh, NC
Post by: nkryptit on July 16, 2009, 10:30:20 AM
Hello All,
My very soon-to-be wife (taking the plunge july 25!) just landed a job in Raleigh, NC.  Now that she's found a job, It's my turn, so I figured it couldn't hurt to put out the word in case anyone is local and knows of a position open.

I'm currently an Asp.Net developer, but can program just about anything else.  I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has any contacts or inside info, I would really appreciate it.

Also, any general insight or advice on moving to Raleigh.  I think we're going to grab an apartment for the first few months, then start house hunting, so that's the next big thing we may need advice on.

Thanks all, and  [beer]

IZ - Thanks...Some good info in there.

Everyone -
How about local beer/home brew supply stores....Drinking/Brewing Beer is right up there next to riding, AKA very important.  Here in West Michigan we actually have quite a few local breweries and a great supply store.

There's a couple good local brewpubs.

Introduce yourself on the local board (MROC) when you get to town.

...or PM me...I work at NC State.
