Officer Aaron Gonzales took over his post. Talked with him today and he seems like a down to earth guy... His pet-peeves are people throwing cig-butts out the window and double yellow line crossers. Went many years without riding, then picked up the HD in early '05. Picked up the S4RS in late '07, but haven't really been doing any twisty road riding until very recently. It's probably been since 1990 that I've done any spirited mountain road riding. I wasn't the slickest guy then, and now I'm a bit older with the attendant slowing of reactions and all that. So, before I rode ACH with you that first time, I downloaded "The Pace" and used that as my approach to the riding. The point of having said all that is to say that ACH will probably be fine for me for the foreseeable future. I don't think my speeds will get me into any trouble. I'm just going to work on smoothness and proper line. Oh, and thanks for giving me a good line to follow, that is when I could still see you! [laugh] Title: Re: Officer Stout retired today.
