I was out riding last night and switched my hi-beams on for a bit, when I switched back to low-beams they never came back on. I have the Dominator dual headlights, it seems that it would be odd that both bulbs would burn out at the same time. Has any one with duals seen this before?

It uses the stock connector, it's plug and play.
Hmmm, I had to re-wire mine a bit when I had them. I would check the connections, make sure the low beam light is properly connected. Turn the lights on and give the connector a good shake...
i have the same lights, id check the bulbs first, then id check your wiring. mine wasnt plug and play. maybe one of the wires are pinched and caused an overload on one of hte bulbs. or maybe the bulbs were just old. First thing id do is take the bulb out of your original headlights and see if that one blows. but id chck the wiring first.
I'm going to check the bulbs and hook up the old headlight unit just to see if that works to try and rule out the hi-beam switch.

at that poitn id ust open the switch up and have a look see. what i think might of happen is the high beam and low beam might of gotten switched up and the bulb burn out prematurely, o the high beam had maybe a few strands pinch into the low beam and blew out the low beam filament.
I opened up the switch and it appears that everything is still soldered in place. It's a bit dirty in there though. Put the old headlight on, no low beams, checked all the bulbs and they look fine.
How big of a job is it to replace that switch? Is there soldering involved?
I opened it up for a second look after I noticed that when pressing the hi-beam button slowly, that the low beam would light and then the hi-beam and then when depressing the low beam would come on for a brief second. When I opened it, I pushed the unit forward a little bit, like a millimeter and now it works. But, when I went to start the bike, everything went black and the main relay started buzzing. Turned the key off and then on again, lights came on, tried to start and main relay buzzing again. I might have killed the battery. The two times that I was workign on it, I had the light on for a good 15-20 minutes.
I had it on the charger for about a half an hour, the first time I tried to start, I got buzzing. I waited a few seconds and it then started right up. Lights are working, went for a ride for about 5 miles, noticed nothing odd. Hopefulle thats the end of this little issue.

you might of moved something that caused it to fix itself. id carry a few fuses with you just in case and id open up that switch and make sure tis clean, put some dielectric grease on it and hope for the best.
First thing tomorrow I'm going to head to the auto parts store and get a couple of sets a fuses and keep them in the tool kit, just in case. I have the day off tomorrow to tinker with things if needed. Hopefully, I'll just be able ride tomorrow and now have to deal with little annoyances.
Like I said, loose wire...
I'd spray some contact cleaner in the switch.
