Anyone have a pic of a blacked out ducati (non dark)?
i cant seem to find one anywhere. somethings that not stock..
I think it was BP with a totally evil 1098.
i was thinking more a long hte lines of a monster. I wanna see how a black out glossy ducati would look before i powder coat my wheels....again .lol id do the frame too casue i hate taht metallic flake they put on from the factory.
Here's one my brother and I did it isn't completely blacked out but it's different than stock.

Still need to fab up a sidemout license plate, ditch all the stock tabs on the frame (exhaust/stock exhaust/side covers/etc), black out some more stuff, etc..
im liking your bike ICON.... inmagine that with a super wet black frame..... matching wheels.... im not a matte kind of dude. never liked darks, but glossy black is where its at!!!! [evil] ive been trying to dig up Magnus bike... man that thing was make the beast with two backsign SWEET!

I can't take credit for these mods, though I was lucky enough to purchase the bike as seen here. New headlight going on next week as well as new reservoir covers, brake levers, and handlebars. Vintage DUCATI lettering on the tank is also going to be glossy black soon. I'm also considering blacking out the forks. Anyone know how I could black out the rear suspension spring without replacing it altogether?

Take it off and get it powdercoated.
Definitely black out the forks, rear caliper bracket and axle plates.......I've got the vinyl for your forks [coffee]

Got to go with black or dark grey engine cases. Use something like Guncote??
Back in the 80's, I used to see a lot of bikes with their engine bits in a dark grey...Kal Kote??? Stuff looked great.
