Ducati Streetfighter test report (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udniZGARyQY#ws-lq-lq2-hq-vhq)
Maybe it's a good thing that it costs 16000â,¬ over here, cause otherwise I'd be in way over my head with this thing.
I really hope one day they bring a proper microphone to the interview... :)
Something with suitable wind protection.
Speaking of sounds...did you hear the plastik and tin sounds when he was knocking on the tank and the exhaust protector.
Thats exatcly the impression I got when I was checking out the bike..
Somehow strange with a pricetag that high to get those false impressions.
Well...ok..I can't expect it sound like an Audi
He's got a great job [thumbsup]

Maybe it should sound like that sweet 695 of yours [thumbsup]
144 miles until the reserve light come on is pretty damn good mine comes on at 75 miles. If i didn't just loose my job I'd consider trading in my S4RS

+1 Maybe next year
Paraphrasing Team America: Streetfighter! FVck yeah!!
No doubt that if I had the money, this would be the bike for me. [moto]
Want to ride one bad! But gonna have to wait till at least next year to purchase one. [moto]
my first reaction was WOAH he is WAY over the double-yellow on that first turn...
i'm an idiot.
Don't feel bad, I thought the same thing. Damn limeys driving on the wrong side.
Carlos thats no way to talk about your limey friends ;) ;)
And besides you wouldn't really like a streetfighter, your more a monster kind of guy [laugh] [laugh]

I'm pretty sure I would like it.
Great review by MCN and I am glad to hear MCN backing Ducati on the quality issue (reputation). Love the StreetFighter. It's going to tough decision for me when it comes to time for a new bike - SF vs SBK.
When they first came out I was a little bit of a naysayer - didn't want to believe my venerable S4RS had been outclassed.
Not too long ago I went over to Touring Sport in Greenburg, SC and swung a leg over one and really got to give it a very close look. Was offered a ride, but way too much traffic.
The seating position seemed way different - more up on it where you can see right down the forks seemed like. The pipes are humongus. It's an awesome motorcycle and I'd give my (fill in you favorite body part here), no, not that one, to have a SF. But of course it'd have to be an S and have the Termi kit. [bow_down] [bow_down]
I'd already have one, but I don't have the 18 or so large $ and the change for the kit.
The RS is still a hell of a good bike and NOTHING looks better in my book. [thumbsup]
LA
Larry the streetfighter is in another class but don't worry as to my mind and alot of others the S4R-S4RS are way better looking and after riding a couple of SFs I can honestly say that this old fart don't need that much power [laugh] [laugh]
I've done alittle blinging up of a streetfighter for a friend, (rizmo bars, grips, barends, fluid pots and brackets, tail tidy with rizoma indicators and a bit of carbon) he took the bike to the Isle of Man and sent a pic which i'll send for you to post [thumbsup]

I love mine, but its been lightly breathed on ;)
I dont think it is quite as comfortable as a S4R (or RS), My seat is up 35mm, bars up 60, and back 25, and the footrests are down 25. The "Rider Triangle" took a bit of fine tuning but im a bit bigger than the average guy...
