I get emails from ebay whenever something comes up in the 950 supermoto search.
This one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180388145884&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ASS%3AUS%3A1123) and this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230360655072&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ASS%3AUS%3A1123) popped up today.
What I don't like, even though these are from different sellers in different areas of the country, they're both regular 950 Sm's and the listings are worded almost the same. They also both have the huge spec sheet on the bike as the main section of the description.
Just seems like too much of a coincidence.
Thoughts?
Spidey senses are tingling...looks sketchy. Contact the seller and if you don't get a good feeling, I'd look elsewhere.
Im not looking, I already own one.
It just seemed odd to me is all. . .
Mileage isn't even close.
I know, and one of them has aftermarket cans, but still
Wouldn't be the first time someone put up an ad on ebay with someone elses pictures
Wait, I think I see a black helicopter outside. :D
;D
Could be sketchy, but people steal each other's listing layouts, wording, and pictures all the time.
I this case, it looks as if they each copied and pasted the specs from somewhere else. Apart from that, there are some significant differences, including the heated "gripes" on one. I agree that the "Never down and service up to date. Wonderful and very enjoyable motorcycle that is both versatile and exciting to ride. Please contact me with any questions." bit is creepily similar.
