It's made by California Cycleworks and it costs $799. Beats that little 3.3 gal stocker. Perfect thing for slabbing it from LA to NY! [laugh] www.ca-cycleworks.com (http://) (http://)
Title: Re: I believe the Hype Post by: NAKID on July 25, 2009, 03:26:58 PM 3.3 in the Hyper? Yeah right. Talk to some Hyper owners and ask them how big the tank REALLY is...

We can also send you the installation booklet to review. Thanks, Chris Title: Re: I believe the Hype Post by: asado on July 26, 2009, 05:31:31 AM first of all... congrads! second of all... please give a complete comparison of riding that bad boy VS riding a monster or streetfighter if you can... Short version of "MY" experience between the three motoscooters below; S4RS Pros: Looks good, handles fairly well, plenty of power, brakes are very good, aftermarket parts are plenty to suit your needs and you can find them for a very good price now a days. Cons: You can spend serious money on mods if you’re not careful (like me), Feels heavy, front end light (had the damper and complete triple tree replaced and it made a big difference), awkward right foot positioning (changing the rearset is a must) and If you're my height (5'7) the long reach from the seat to the bars can cause discomfort on long trips. SF Pros: Looks good, handles very good even with the Showa (The BST’s made the SF handles like a dream, its quicker on turns and made the SF even lighter), brakes are extremely good, likes to lean, light, tight and compact, very good riding position and the power is overabundance. Add the Termi’s, race ecu and air filter and the power is insane. Cons: You can spend serious money on mods if you’re not careful (like me) and same as the S4RS, the awkward right foot positioning exists (I replaced the stock plastic exhaust guard with Motowheels carbon version and it made a difference) Hypermotard: Pros: Lots of torque, plenty of power, very, very fun on paved goat trails, handles like a supermoto (grew up riding supermotos and it’s the same except with the few added weight) , very good riding position, 2up riding is good and did I say very very fun on goat trails? Cons: You can spend serious money on mods if you’re not careful (like me), high seat height (not a problem to me, I’ve ridden some KTM’s than I can’t even reach the ground at all), lots of wind blast on freeway rides if you’re going past 80mph (again, doesn’t bother me because im used to it) and can land you in jail because of the urge to ride on sidewalks, tight alleys etc. The three motoscoosters are very different from each other, each have their own purpose, strength and weaknesses. I cannot make recommendations on which is the best one or the best one to own because what works for me might not work on others. Different folks, different strokes….. Title: Re: I believe the Hype Post by: krista on July 26, 2009, 09:14:13 PM Ha! I just noticed that the right turn signals are BOTH on at the same time in one of the pics. Heh, that's pretty cool. ;)
I completely agree with asado's review of the Hyper. I'm unsure if I can ever own one of those. The few rides I did on Z!na's HM were absolutely nut-ball. So glad no police witnessed me...! :) Chris Title: Re: I believe the Hype Post by: duc996 on July 26, 2009, 09:35:37 PM Those are some great urban assault weapons you got there! [thumbsup]

Something about the hyper that makes you feel like you're a little kid again ;D (http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/2843/img00104200908051846.jpg) (http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/782/img00106200908051846.jpg) (http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/7314/img00105200908051846.jpg) |
