Title: Please help me out. "Exhaust Question" Post by: kumabull on July 28, 2009, 04:18:13 AM I'm having a time trying to determine the best way to remove the rear header off of the vertical cylinder? if anyone has a tip \trick or any advice I would appreciate it greatly.
this is on an 07 S4RS. it is such a tight space that I wanted to ask before diving into the issue. [bang] Thank you, [beer] Charlie Title: Re: Please help me out. "Exhaust Question" Post by: hypurone on July 28, 2009, 04:43:26 AM You need to compress the rear suspension. Either have someone sit on it or use tie downs thru the wheel and around the frame, using towels/rags to protect of course. You won't need much. Been there done that. Got the Termi 50mm system to prove it! [laugh]

Title: Re: Please help me out. "Exhaust Question" Post by: hypurone on July 28, 2009, 05:02:03 AM Welcome. The really hard part is loosening/tightening the nuts on the rear downpipe at the head. 2 of the 4 are a pure pregnant dog! [puke] Make sure you have a good selection of 1/4 & 3/8 extensions and swivels. [thumbsup]

"Exhaust Question" Post by: WhiteStripe on July 28, 2009, 09:11:12 AM Just installed exhaust on s2r - not sure if its the same but a 10mm (i think) ratchet wrench was a life saver for me. Was able to fit it onto the right hand side bolt by coming down through the top (tank up seat off).

"Exhaust Question" Post by: hypurone on July 29, 2009, 11:50:45 AM You are having issues with the tank? Exactly what are you experiencing? There is a thread or two on here about diff issues but I so far am not seeing any of them that I can discern. I have looked again and again after each post like this one...
