Honeymoon pictures!
Starting with arriving & the following day which was a day at sea.
We were on RCCL's Adventure of the Seas for seven nights in the Southern Caribbean
Lots of cool sculpture were all over the boat. Here are some examples:

This one was called "The Dive"
There was an oriental themed bar at one end of the promenade deck where you found this:

Before we sailed away, I did slip topside and grab a picture of the Carnival Miracle, also about to set sail:
The promenade deck was really awesome. They had celebrations there and it was just cool. Our favorite bar was located on the promenade as well, a English style pub called "Duck & Dog"
Royal Promenade set up for the "Sail Away" party:

Our dining room for the next seven nights, one of the largest in the Caribbean!

There was really interesting 2-story disco called "Jesters" with a very dark & medieval theme:
These two stained glass works were in the entryway

This guy was roughly human sized

Lots of interesting booths & dark corners:
Like two kids on Christmas eve, we were so excited about everything that had gone on and excited about the ship, we got up a 4AM to check out a Caribbean sunrise:
Later in the day, we see just how blue the Caribbean waters are:
Late on our day at sea, there was a Honeymooner's reception at Jesters:

That's all for the arrival day & the day at sea!

Day 2, Barbados
It was pouring the rain in Barbados when we arrived, so we didn't get to explore much. We did try to walk to town, but it wasn't impressive. We took a Pirate & Shipwreck snorkel excursion in the afternoon though.
Beaches:

We ported on the Dutch side and rented a car so we could drive over to the French side where we had lunch at a great little French sidewalk café:

Fruity island drinks while in the islands. They tasted better down there.

Almost done, two days left!

Statler, I think we should organize a DMF bareboat trip in the BVI's after looking at these pics.... Feb.? March? What say you?! Who else is interested? Or we can all stay put for the winter and knit alpaca sweaters and pot holders. [evil]
