Title: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: Research Monkey on May 21, 2008, 01:32:02 PM http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-07-DUCATI-MONSTER-SMOKE-TAIL-LIGHT-SIGNAL-620-695_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ35575QQihZ016QQitemZ260241521130QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
Any one try it? How's it look? Its about 20-30 cheaper then the Clear Alternatives unit. Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: Capo on May 21, 2008, 02:05:09 PM This was supposed to be out now anyone got an update?

Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: rubinj21 on May 21, 2008, 02:14:28 PM I spoke with Jeff @ Monsterparts yesterday. Time frame sounded like within the month. Apparently they have a test unit and it is much brighter and higher quality than some of the others.
Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: flanman on May 21, 2008, 02:30:12 PM another option is the moto dynamic one. I haven't tried either but don't really wan't to get the CA.
Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: northerncalguy on May 21, 2008, 03:26:57 PM I emailed the Vizi-tec guys and they said the following:
Quote Thanks for your interested in our product. We had some manufacturing issues. The product will be ready to ship in 3 weeks. We'll be updating our site soon. Just so busy. We also upgraded to 490 LEDs also. So it is not SN490i. ~10% more LEDs. I'll send you an email when it is available. This is no doubt going to be much better than the CA or other's on the market, especially with the intelligent algorithm that drives the blinking action. I'm holding out for the for the full setup with the Suprabrake integrated. Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: Spike on May 21, 2008, 04:40:59 PM I have the MotoDynamic integrated LED tail. Works very well, is very bright and eliminating the signals cleans up the tail. And the price was right. I scored it for $54 + s&h. My 2 cents.

Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: rubinj21 on May 21, 2008, 06:35:30 PM i wonder if they will come out with a package that comes with the suprabrake.
Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: northerncalguy on May 21, 2008, 10:31:19 PM i wonder if they will come out with a package that comes with the suprabrake. Yep -- the new Vizi Tec lights will have 2 versions, with or without the Suprabrake integration. The quality looks solid. We'll have to see how bright the setup is in daylight, though... Does anyone know anything about the company? Reliable? Tough/Robust? Is the Supa Nova gonna be plug and play? Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: rubinj21 on May 22, 2008, 02:13:54 PM Ive been told it will be plug and play, but that remains to be seen. If the quality is good, it might be worth the extra $$$

Full review when installed please. :) I need (want) one too... [cheeky] Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: MotoCreations on May 22, 2008, 09:54:01 PM (http://www.vizi-tec.com/SUPANOVA/IMAGE/SN320-C_TEST.jpg)
Bernard at Vizi-Tec made a few upgrades since the above picture. He has doubled the power and increased the copper heatsink to drive 490 LED's now which will improve things even more. (Electrical engineering at its finest!) Units next week will then go through Q/A testing and final firmware upgrade. One should be down here in @2 weeks for unbiased testing. Update then. (note: it is quite a bit brighter than the CA-one in day/night testing and radically increased side visibility) Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Can you see the indicators alright? Thinking of getting one but also thinking of keeping my original cover. Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: knightrider on May 23, 2008, 03:21:28 PM i believe it comes as a sealed unit, if you look at the pictures on the site, it has a tamperproof sticker on it. and the version with the integrated turn signals is not available in red for obvious reasons.
Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: Wanwo on May 23, 2008, 03:43:38 PM i believe it comes as a sealed unit Ah yes, no screw holes on the lens cover. Spike, any pics of the MotoDynamic on yr bike? Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: Wanwo on May 23, 2008, 09:04:11 PM Thx for pics. [thumbsup]
Is the lens cover glued on or something? I think if I could get my red lens on there it'd be exactly what I want. Title: Re: Anyone try this yet? Integrated Tail - Not - Clear Alternatives Post by: hydra on July 03, 2008, 07:37:09 PM does the motodynamic have the flashing brake light? not too keen on the flashing brakes... [moto]
