So I've been debating this for about 3 months and really can't come up with an answer to what would look best.
Options are:
1. Current Gray color
2. Tank Color
3. Carbon Fiber

tank color......
I always think the monster looks better with the tank color on the cowl, ties the whole bike color scheme together, IMO a black or carbon cowl looks like the plain seat with no cowl...unless you have some stripes on it.
just my opinion,
RB
I have carbon, no stripe on my blue S4r
Tank. Maybe you should make this a poll. Don't forget to include boobies as an option.. [thumbsup]
I say carbon. ;D
Tank color would unify the look. Is your fairing/flyscreen the same color as the tank or is it gray like the cowl?
Very nice bike. [thumbsup]
my first choice is boobies. A distance second is tank color. [thumbsup]
tank color.
Nice looking bike. [thumbsup]
tank color.
Alternatively, you could do the main cowl as a tank color and leave the grey as number plates. I have similar colors and did a two-tone cowl (sorry for the crappy pic), though not with full number plates.

Tank color [thumbsup]
Tank color!
That was pretty conclusive! Looks like Tank color
I say:
1) Tank color.
or
2) If that tank color is close to black/dark grey, you can get away with carbon.
Tank Color, or carbon.
wow... when we were riding the other day I said to myself "all that time and money into the bike and he never painted the cowl?" ;D
I say paint... ya know... like mine.... minus all the scratches. [laugh]
