Title: got my rizoma reservoirs put on today =) Post by: thruxton on August 06, 2009, 02:21:00 PM Got my rizoma goodies last week: indicators, levers, rear sets, and was brave enough to try my own man work on them. Went on slow but OK.
But the reservoirs?? Well, I decided not to learn how to bleed the system (maybe some day) so rode into SF today and had my dealer install. They look great and no leak problems. By them, you need them, must......have.....bracket. ;) They would leak with the old bracket's but not anymore. If they do leak you have to make sure everything inside the pod is dry....seals and top. Are those reservoirs aluminum or titanium in color? well, neither. they are natural or silver (@ pjparts). it's the same color as the stock bars and so they basically disappear. ii do like those bracket holders! for someone blacking out their bike [beer] it's perfect, but i knew that silver would be the clean look i wanted. one shop didn't even want to put them on due to bad history of them leaking. that's surprising since my stuff from rizoma has always been so nice. i'll keep my fingers crossed. I used the supplied brackets to attach mine, but I painted them and used some hardware I had in the garage to mount them up. I like the Rizoma brackets but they're pricey.

Need some advice on the reservoirs for a 2000 M900ie. Present stock ones are large brake one with a right angle outlet and a medium clutch one with a 45-degree down outlet. Is it all right if I get the Rizoma medium with the right angle outlets for both? Will it bolt on without difficulty?
