OP, Good luck on finding another one. There are a bunch appearing on CL all the time.

Who ended up with it?  Is he around the DMF?

Jammen has one with a measly 47K on the clock-it's in the classy fides.

He's a dude that lives out in Modesto. First bike I belive. He was a nice guy. I think I pointed him to the board here when he was still just interested in the bike and wanted to learn more about Monsters.

Yeah, were looking there also.  Most are just not quite what we are looking for for one reason or another.  Yours fit the bill, but we took about a day too long it seems.

A bit too many miles on that one.

I put 21,100 miles on mine by the time I sold it. It still runs like a champ, but I can see how you might not want one at nearly 50K having not put that on yourself.


I got Mortifer's SV650s. It has the full gsxr 750 front-end conversion and 600 rear shock. Yosh pipe, pcIII, blah blah blah. I also got a full set of race plastics (and tank!) with it. It was an excellent deal and will definitely be cheaper for me to use on the track more often than my Monster was. My 695 would have cost so much money just for bars, rearsets, suspension and then especially if I had crashed at the track after all that. It's just more financially responsible of me to get a Japanese twin right now. I'm still only freelancing since the big layoff 8 months ago  :-\

How bout a 620 Multistrada with more mods than Joan Rivers?  ;D

Never crashed or dropped or damaged
Had a tank leak that was sealed with JB Weld
Multistrada bars
Upgraded 3 Bolt triple clamp
Aftermarket Exhaust (see video below, last bike is mine)
Needs 12k service
New DOT Race Tires (1.5 Days)
New Grips (as you can see above it had some later that day)
Still has the tail (i don't need extra police attention getting, and even though enzo ripped my front reflectors off I still have them somewhere)
Oil and filter changed frequently by a non-professional (me)
Last Valve service at 8k, only needed one closer adjusted
Could use some new valve cover gaskets
Brand new chain
Infrequently washed

12k miles, full GPR exhaust, tires in great shape, new DID chain, Rizomas, and some other stuff.
Red w/ white stripe and white wheels....and it's a 2005.

He's mostly into the dark/charcoal/black/blue/and white.  Red would be at a smoken price (I think your bike will be too NICE for a smoken price though).
