on a 1999 M900?
Thanks in advance!
down to the plastic.....
There's a thread on TOB about a woman who did just about that. She took it way down, basically just a thin layer of foam and a gel pad on the plastic when she was done. Also, sometimes narrowing just the forward nose of the seat helps by making more room for your thighs when you pout your legs down. It wouldn't matter much if you were already down to minimal padding.

That's Mangledbug - she's on here now. Surprised she hasn't copied over her seat Tute now that it's been mentioned.
Total seat height - you can loose a good bit. The rear can be lowered at the hoop, and the forks can be moved in the triples as well. That + seat will get you a couple inches.
Got plans for someone else to ride the 900? Getting a new toy!? I know you're not looking to lower it for your own needs, big feller
Just thinning the herd/capitalizing my cabinet business. Maybe next spring Ill do the flat black busa, touring/SPEEDING edition. Flat black absorbs "lasers" right?
The Coup D'etat was a 1999 M900 and it's seat-height was 24 1/2". Just FYI....
hey Stew, apples to apples my friend ;D
