I saw this outside my orthopedic surgeon's office this afternoon.
Good grief!
;D
That's great! He's just trying to keep the exhaust up high in the air like a big rig. Next is a vertical setup with a nice perforated shield around the exhaust can.
Easier to catch rain (or wash water)! [thumbsup] [laugh]
Seriously.....
I wonder if he knowingly did this or he just is a moron?
The best is when you look from the other side, you see the badge upside down [laugh] [laugh]
supposed to be that way.
Isnt that the new John Deere 600RR?
It increases down force for better rear wheel traction.

Nah...
you're wrong.
It's for wheelies. ;D

I thought the same thing. When you're doing crazy-mad-stunten back scraping four mile long wheelies the last thing you want is to scrape your tall pipe. ;D

Maybe he didn't like the badge and thought it was a great way to hide it...

Damn Jeff--you beat me to it. That's exactly what i thought when I saw this. As for the exhaust, I think that's the pillion warmer upgrade. Costs about $200 extra. . . .

I was gonna say that could cause a nasty highside when he's draggin knee but I doubt it leans that far. :-\
Ok, I think I got it...
It's a pillion warmer that serves duty as a wheelie-scratch-proof-water-for-extra-engine cooling-while stunting and didn't like the logo on the exhaust.
Is it????? :o
looks like a bun warmer

Could you imagine riding pregnant dog on that bike with the exhaust blowing right up your ass?
Maybe it's got one of those whistle things in it.

Um, I don't ride pregnant dog. Sounds like your familiar with it though. ;D
An OCC creation perhaps ;D
I saw one like this at my last trackday.
Maybe they try to 'fool' the noise measurment by doing this (as it points the noise more upwards in stead of directly at the measurment device).
It probably won't make a large diference. But whatever keeps you beneeth the limit. The instructor menioned that if we drive at the other side of the track at the measurment points it could make 1db difference.
