Ugliest chopper ever. [puke]
You'd have to be taller then me to see over the tank. Oh and some what fugly also!
Show bike.
Never meant to be ridden.
Doesn't have to have good ergonomic or road manners, just look outrageous.
Wow...that's just ugly. With an unbelievable price to boot. [puke]
Question Anson, Why were you looking at it?
You know me well enough to know its not for me, but as they say, "No such thing as bad publicity". The owner thanks you i'm sure.

I was watching Mecum last night on DiscoveryHD an I saw that roll through. I saw the price and thought my Lord who the..... had to share. They had a guy push it through, looked above average height. Watching him try to see around the tank was ridiculous. :P
Yeah I saw that as well. I think the highest bid was $17,000, but I didn't see if it actually sold or if it was held back due to a reserve price.
As art........Fail
:P
never was a fan of that dropped seat sort of look...
my balls hurt just looking at it. :-[
You know
if they moved/reshaped the tank so it was underneath the backbone in that void space
rounded up those brakelines with some kind of tie/fastener
and
tightened up the rake to about 26 degrees
it wouldn't look too bad

American IronHorse makes one similar to what your talking about.

I do like the rear of that bike
but the frame builder needed to have the tire mounted to the wheel to better make that bend
now
add the rear of that green bike to this bike
(http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/photogallerys/2010-Honda-Fury-5.jpg)
then i woulld take one
but
not for 50k
that is just make the beast with two backsing dumb
I sat on one, it's a beast. Would take some getting used to, the front tire seems like it's 10ft away. :o

You can build one for alot less. There are tons of rolling chassis out there. [thumbsup]
it looks like a preying mantis

I like the long and low look better than the tall spindly look. I actually took one of those type out once, strange steering, kind flops into a corner, makes you want to put a leg out to hold it up. Once straightened out though they're kinda cool to goose with the big twin.

Couldn't agree more. The original Swedish style bikes were cool because they were still stubby & actually steered well. Then... leave it up to Americans, POOF big giant cookie cutter bikes painted like easter eggs, made with parts from Asia. WTF?
As far as this bike goes, yes flops big time at slow speed. It would be a little tuff to set rake & trail on a bike that could roll under a dining table with 52deg. rake. [laugh] But MAN does it ride well over 20. It has an actuator on the clutch so you can set at a stop in gear with no clutch on like an automatic car (very cool). I know this style isn't for everybody, especially this group, but if anyone can ride this & not say they didn't feel pretty damn cool on it is full of crap. It's like dating a super model...Ya' don't ask her her IQ.

Brunettes, Blondes, Red heads, they all come around. It's like walkin' a puppy, while carryin' a baby. [cheeky]

I didn't see this post before, sorry to not respond.
Yes it does have lines like Paul's bike. They have worked together in Phoenex for years.
John built all the exhausts & many of his frames. Now John is "the man" Aint time funny...Go figure.
