Title: New vibration after new fuel tank
Post by: lilmonster on August 18, 2009, 05:36:08 PM
I know this sounds crazy but, I had new fuel tank installed last Friday. On the ride home I thought I felt a light vibration in the bars at about 4600 rpm. Does it in 5th and 6th gears at same rpm. It did not do it before I dropped it off, the only thing that was done that I know of is changing the tank.

It is due for valve check/adjustment. I found after searching that loose valves  may have effect on vibes. I just know it wasn't doing it before. I checked engine mounts and looked around the tank for anything out of place that seemed ok. Anyone have any ideas or should I take back to the shop?

If the vibration wasn't there before and is there now take it back to the shop.
