So as I am preparing to close the motor back up i had a vision of everything in the motor being wrong despite having made sure everything was lined up as it was when I did the valves.
so here's what is going on
05 620 motor and heads with 11:1 750cc pistons and cylinders
nichols flywheel was put on as well (holy crap is that thing light)
I had to move all but one of the gears (alternator side) from the old motor to the new one.
Now I have the vert piston at TDC, the notch in the magnet in the sight glass, and all of the timing marks on the pulley's lined up.
so is this ready to go or is there something i'm missing?
do i need to adjust or check anything to make sure the timing is right?
am i going to need to go buy more tools?
Sounds good, but to be sure rotate the engine slowly by hand before starting.
Aren't the cam pulley marks supposed to line up with the horizontal at TDC?

i figure that the worst that can happen if the horiz cyl is at tdc and the vert is supposed to be, is the spark plugs won't fire at the right time.
then again, i'm asking for a reason. i doubt my thought process on this, lol.

Move the horizontal to TDC and check marks.
