Title: Pulled over for the first time Post by: Frosty_spl on August 22, 2009, 05:09:28 PM I was following my 2 600 sportbike riding friends today, trying to keep up on the highway. They passed a harley mounted officer doing around 110. The leo pulled out and hit his lights the same time I passed by, doing around 85. We all pulled off at the next exit, the officer only pointed at my one friend to pull over. I pulled into a gas station, my other friend pulled around and back to where the cop was.
My 2 friends got chewed out while I waited at the gas station. Then the cop yelled for me to come over. OH SHIT, I wasn't even speeding that much! I walked over and the officer said "hope you know someone with a truck to take your bikes away, cuz you 3 are going to jail" "What?!?!? You didn't even see me!" Then the cop started laughing, saying my friends told him to mess with me. He told us to slow down, and not be stupid. The police officer then showed his ground-down floorboards on his Harley. [leo] We were super lucky today. whew. [roll] When I asked how he picked me out of the mass of vehicles moving in the morning commute, he said he had to draw the line somewhere. He tagged me for 75 in a 65. But he was cool and showed me all the trick bits on his Bimmer. I wouldn't mind a heated seat come December....hmmmm....
