Title: Front brake hardware
Post by: Mr Earl on August 25, 2009, 02:36:59 PM
After installing clip-ons, I'm not happy with the routing of the front brake line between the master and the tee/split.  I've seen double-banjo nut setups where there are 2 separate brake lines leaving the master, rather than a tee.  It seems like a good idea, and the routing would be easier.

So... has anyone done this, and what are your opinions?

Does anyone have the specs on fitting sizes (banjo, caliper fittings) for the M800/Brembo 4-piston setup?

Thanks very much.

I just got my new lines from Fred @ Yoyodyneti today - custom set up for my parts was about $160.
He knows "all" about brakes and will get you exactly what you are looking for.
I've heard that two lines and a double banjo fitting to the master is working better than 1-2 lines through a T.

Also, someone pointed me to PJsParts who has colored options....
