if you told me to, i wouldnt, but then i dont know the whole story, BUT i do know your demented sense of humour
There's an Italian Bike Nite (IBN) at Gelato Paradiso in the Corona del Mar Plaza located at Coast Hwy and MacArthur Blvd in Newport Beach every 1st and 3rd Wednesday night starting around 6:45pm.
I haven't been yet but I got the word through another friend at work. He said they usually have a good turn out. After people talk and look a the bikes some of them go take a ride up the coast highway to get something to eat.
Even if you go and nobody shows up, it's still a great ride down the coast. [thumbsup]

There's a really hot chick that works there named Amanda Huginkiss. She loves newcombers, and you get a free drink from her if it's your first time there. Just go in and yell, "I looking for Amanda Huginkiss and a free drink!"

If you meet up with HunkyPunk he's always down for that joint.
Just make sure to imbaress the hell out of him if he's on one of his Ducati's, and if he's on his baby blue & white Honda interceptor 250 he will do it all on his own. [laugh]

los angeles / so cal is a pretty big area. what city are you in?
im in highland park. Its Borderline Pasadena/south pasadena area.
I just hate that all the fun looking gatherings are 40 miles from me, and all roads that lead there at the appointed times are snarled weekday trafficky slab. :(

Dude...it's Santa Monica...no one thinks that's strange...
http://www.hollywoodbikenight.com/ (http://www.hollywoodbikenight.com/) and santa monica IBN or if you want to go east a little bit, there's Frisco's in City of Industry on Thursday nights. I think they have a frisco's in .. downey maybe? as well which used to have a bike night on tuesdays.
I know of a couple more in OC and Corona/Riverside but that might be a bit far for you.
I went ot the hollywood bike night once... once...
I didnt have a stretched chromed out busa, and didnt fit in. Plus I didnt have a leather vest on to show my gang, errr club affiliation.
Maybe its different now, but it was a lot different scene than I expected
it's not any different, from what I hear. But that's no reason to be afraid of people who different than us.

Where did Retro say anything about being afraid? I went to the Hollywood Bike Nite site and saw that I didn't much care for the "scene". The MC version of tuner cars doesn't do much for me, even less so the patch holders, 1%ers or not.
Don't mistake lack of interest with fear.
I may swing by this Thursday anyway to see what the realio dealio is, after all I live about a 2 miles from there.
