Just wondering if many people on this board do or know of people who do this stuff? Or if you have witnessed this or other types of body modification. (excluding tattoos)

I remember seeing this sort of thing at the 2004 CES (Consumer Electronics show) in Las Vegas, one of the Car Audio brands I was selling at the time (Lightning Audio) Launched there 04 Range of product using a Brochure and Magazine advertising using this exact sort of thing, They were from a a group called Church of Bod Mod, They had all the Hooks and wires in and under there skin, Some people were offended by the Pics, but most people loved them, The demographic that Lightning was aiming for (Teen to mid 20's) loved it!
This is a Pic of the Lady from the front cover of the Catalog (She was held up on the cover with Hooks in her back) She had Stainless Steel rings embedded in her arms!

Went to a strip club thit weekend... and a lady had peircings across her back.... and silk ribbon running through it... made her back look like it was corsetted... oh my, it was hot.... my wife loved it too. ;D

every time i see pics/videos of suspensions, i always have to look and see if one of my old buddies is there. he's quite "prominent" in that community and has been featured in documentaries and tv shows.

I love the corset/ribbons piercing. Super hot. The only thing keeping me from doing that is my job. My other piercings have already been snagged/bleeding at work a couple of times, and considering that at work I am exposed to the gnarliest germs out there...
If you look, there are some pretty gnarly videos of suspension piercings. I saw one a few years ago of a guy being lifted up and flown around under a helicopter by cables hooked through his piercings.
