As a long time Marvel comics fan I'm not sure how to feel. Sure, Disney would probably ruin my favorite characters by crassly marketing them to anyone and everyone they could using all manner of cheap and tawdry tie-ins, sequels, and cross-promotions, but then Marvel's already done that.

I do think Disney overpaid. Sure Marvel has great characters and comic book movies have been a big draw for the last few years, but at some point the pendulum will swing the other direction.

I wonder if Yorgie had to pay Marvel for his Capt America stunt at the GP, or...
