or snip it.
they don't believe in that sort of thing
Nuts! "Michelle has now been pregnant 147 months of her life, with five more to go. That's 12-plus years and counting."
Happy about this if it's accurate: "They feed their entire family on less than $2,000 a month and say that they live debt-free."
Why stop them from having kids if they are doing everything is ok for them? ???
I bet they get quite the tax credit every year

I actually admire the fact that they as a family are well adjusted and are living a good moral life.
My only real complaint is that they have turned all this into a media thing.
Every pregnancy is announced like some press conference.... and it's getting old. Just shut up and slide another baby out.
ok, I can definitely see that.
That's what also pays the bills.
Having kids for sport. :'(

I never thought about hunting them that's a pretty good idea. What age do you set them loose?
seriously, what's the point?
i think it's better to focus on the children that they already have.
just my $0.02
Ciao!

Exactly. You can only give each kid so much attention. At one point, the daughters were really the ones doing all the work. Doesn't sound like a great childhood to me.
:P
This is obviously this woman's only talent. If she was livestock, her breeders would be proud. [thumbsup]
Like a tic-tac dispenser... open the lid and shake a little one out.

it's a religious thing for them... as long as they aren't on welfare, i don't see a problem with it.
Derby, I saw your name as the last responder, and I honestly thought I would pull up a message saying this was a Derby 18 times over, with 18 links, etc :)
I have been reading over this Quiverfull thing - they have a forum :) (http://www.fullquivermission.com/forum/)

it's my understanding that discovery networks and some sponsors helped with building their house, but both of the parents are realtors and they own a number of income properties.
I heard their mommy and daddy parts are sponsored by RedBull. and that's where the bulk of their income comes from.

Not reading the article. :'(
Nah I read it and yes I caught the part about their beliefs. To each their own I guess but doesn't mean I have to agree with it.
to each their own I guess. I'm not going to throw any stones their way...
Since many of their 18 kids are older than the 3-5 year media fascination with large families I doubt they did it for the media exposure.
No doubt they've leveraged recent exposure for dollars but who here wouldn't take advantage of a situation to help pay the bills? Not many monks on the DMF.
Really though with a name like Jim Bob, their state of residence, etc it proves once again that truth is often stranger than fiction. Too funny.
Will she even have to push? :-X
I wonder what her life expectancy is now. Having that many kids will literally wear you out.
Push? yea right. she is going to have to spend the next six months trying not to sneeze.
