Title: bulb ? Post by: ab on September 04, 2009, 04:15:37 PM I got my bike back after a week for valve/belt/fork maintenance.
Anyhow, I start to ride and notice my high beam light stop working (low beam works). I think it might be burned. What's brightest bulb I can get? Got to get one asap. Any suggestion appreciated. (bike 620 Monster 2004 ) Title: Re: bulb ? Post by: Howie on September 04, 2009, 07:17:07 PM Many of us have run a 80/100 watt. The wiring is just good enough if everything is perfect. Check all connections, particularly the connector for the bulb. I ran an 80/100 for three or four years, ducpainter has run one longer. Do expect a shorter bulb life.
Title: Re: bulb ? Post by: rockaduc on September 05, 2009, 05:26:35 AM I think I have a PIAA extreme bright or some such name. Anyway it is 100/110, WAY more visible during the daytime for those cagers that keep trying to kill me.

I got to switch to HID light at some point. I do lot of night riding and this lights are just not enough. Thanks for your help. |
