So it put out 101 horsepower and 64.91 lbs of torque after 3 pulls. Mods are in my signature line and I have a PC with the S4R map will full system.
I was expecting around 98 so I wasn't disappointed.

Thats interesting my S4 gave 111bhp last Dyno test with 68.4 ft lb and it has standard headers but modified termis PC111 with custom map ,very smooth lowered gearing 43 on the back sprocket so it revs hard easily also megacycle rockers and very carefully set up shims to LT desmo times recommendations.
Comparing dynos is apples and potatoes.
A little S4 info:

Mine dynoed about 103 with cans and a dyno-tuned PCIII.
That's a good baseline for whatever you do next. :)

time to start wheelying that thing [evil]
That's ill. I'm having Lee's Cycle in San Diego perform a custom map for me as well. I remember reading about Crankmonster putting out something in the ballpark of 123. Fvck I want that power! Then will I wheelie like a mofo, Mr. Trouble! [moto]
By the way, have anyone ever heard of Powerstar spark plugs?
mine did 99 hp
I decided to install 933 big bore kit and HC pistons over the winter to fix it [laugh]

At 99 hp, what were your mods if any?
Also, what effect did the hi comp pistons and big bore have (I know, stupid answer but I want to know your experience).
Thanks.

I wheelie just fine with less than 100 crank hp let alone 101 wheel hp...

I have an open airbox, slip-ons, and PCIII valves were set at BCM's specs. I'm actually running a little too lean right now which accounts for about 1-2 hp down. The dyno I ran on has never seen an S4 make more than 104 hp and it was very rich.
Big Bore has not been done yet... Last winters project was disassembling, powdercoating, anodizing, reassembling the entire motorcycle but the engine was spared. So this winter's project is the engine work.
I've heard 12-15hp gain but I am more interested in the learning experience than the extra power.
Dynos can be flighty , I was at Bira track today and on the same dyno I got the 111hp last December ...today I got 107hp on 2 passes but i swear the bike is running better now than ever its spot on for valves ,balance etc .Really smooth.
Its in the real world that really matters out on the highway.
Just been chatting with my friend Simon who works for Mclaren F1 ,he says most dynos are 2-3% out due to wheel slip but some can be as much as 15% out usually showing more HP than actually present ,, he remebers testing a car with 340bhp which on another dyno supposedly had 427bhp but the onter dyno was faulty.

more is better. [evil]
Speeddog said it right, right off the bat too.
Dyno's are tools for comparing power/tuning before and after combo's. NOT for comparing between bikes, etc.(unless on the same dyno/operator and similar weather conditions.
