Ohio Desmodromi will also be in attendance with our bikes.

Hope to maybe see some of you there

Metallimonster - You better show up!!!!!

After the event we are going back to Chris@cyclecat (formerly) house to watch GP racing, pit bike racing, and general shenanigans.

Damn!!!  Looks like I came home a couple days too early!

We have something similar earlier in the summer. - Automezzi.  Benifits a local art school.  Always a lot of fun.

Yours goes to a better cause.

I was riding on 77 south earlier and was side by side with a Ferrari. I wonder if he was headed to this event. I NEVER see Italian machines of that caliper on the street.

Most likely that is where it was going.

Apparently this is a pretty big event. Based on the number of Lambo's and Ferrari's, I would agree.

The dealer had a new California............drooooool

Anyone got 227k for me???

It sure was.

It was brought there by the local Ferrari dealer in Dublin. They also had a lamborghini and a few Maserati's for sale.

And last, but not least........if I could buy any current car model, regardless of price, it would be the Ferrari California.

this beauty was supplied by the local Ferrari dealer in Dublin, Midwestern Auto Group (they also sell bentley, rolls, maserati, lambo, bmw, audi, aston martin).

I forgot to take a picture of the sticker, but the price was just shy of $228,000.

I didn't see any security very close by. ( by security I mean MAG employees recognizable by their white MAG shirts and tan slacks ).

Other than the older guy in the white shirt and tan slacks in the background.

Didn't see Mark ( of course ) the owner , or Val, Sales Mgr., Mike, High Line Sales, or Richard, GM.

Very unusual to have a new Ferrari not spoken for.

8 years ago , there was a 3 year waiting list for most current models....that is if you could get on it .

Generally you had to have been a current owner of a Ferrari and sign a document stating you were going to keep the car for a certain amount of time . In other words you couldn't buy one to try and flip it for a profit.

If you did break that rule , you were banned from buying a new Ferrari for quite some time.

Any of those cars NOT have vanity plates ?

One of those Lamborghini Gallardos is probably Rhett Ricart's.  ( Ricart Ford )  the World's Largest Ford Dealer ( so THEY say ) .

Haha - no. Just completing a craigslist transaction (a gift for another forum member).

The trip was largely uneventful. I got stopped by a county sheriff on a country back road. I think I pulled over before he even hit his lights because I knew I was pinched (I passed him when he was parked on the side of the road. I really was going too fast). He was polite and so was I. I had my license endorsement and insurance card, he said slow down and sent me on my way.

That was the first time I'd ever been pulled over on a motorcycle.

Thread jack/

For those who are interested.

Porsche Panamera will be available around the 1st part of Oct. at MAG.

If you are interested in one ( this is what my salesman friend told me ) I can order one from Porsche and expect delivery in 2 1/2 -3 months.

Final costs haven't been passed to the Dealer yet but the 4S which is all wheel drive should be somewhere between $90,000-$120,000.

they do carry every type of high-end car available.........(outside of your rare shit like Buggati, etc)

There is a LOT of money in the Columbus area. Check that.......some with a shit ton of money.

Most did have Ohio plates.....but a few had Florida ones.

I really think that getting all the way over and stopped before he even pulled all the way onto the road might have made the difference for me. I knew I was pinched and gave him the courtesy I would want in his position. It probably also helped that he wasn't a dick, so I guess I was lucky. It's not that I think cops are dicks (far from it), but that there are dicks in every occupation.
