Man! It's fortunate that you only suffered those mild injuries - your gear looks pretty rough. Glad to hear it wasn't much worse, considering the woods and all.
what were you doing on a dirt road at 80mph on the duc?
heal up, and next time get a different bike, they dont' get as damaged as the duc.
**i cna't see the pics at work, if you were on a diff bike then my apologies.
Heal quick.. How bads the bike?
The dirt road was run off I went for, came in too hot to a turn over a hill. Was either run off or the barrier and bridge. Bike is unknown, but I think it tumbled not slid. Will post pics when I can.
ahh! This is a bad week. Glad to hear you were wearing gear and all you walked away!

not only walked, tried to lift bike but had 0 strength. then the shoulder pain, dizziness, and tunnel vision came. had to sit before collapse.
At 80 mph, it could have been far, far worse. Glad you came out of that relatively unscathed. Heal up!
nice scale shots with the cigs. [laugh]
Yeah..what Kni said?! ?? !!
Going 80 "too hot to a turn over a hill"?? :-X
Glad you're ok though Pak!
Wow, scary stuff. Glad you are relatively ok.
Glad you're OK Jake.
Wouldn't this be better in the riding techniques crash thread or the gear that saved your life thread? :-\
it's def moto related.
Thanks DP.
I didn't know where to put this, can you transfer it?
Dont you know that smokeing is dangerous [roll]
Glad you are ok!

You bet.
I figured more would see it in general.
Always wear the gear!!!
I cringe when I see people without helmets and/or gear, it's a choice where I live but my brain and body are too important not to protect. I can understand people might not want to wear leather pants with all the pads but there are plenty of Kevlar lined jeans with the knee pads inside that look just like regular jeans, it just makes no sense to me why people so often don't wear this stuff. Riding is dangerous enough with all the crazy idiots out there with their "mobile office" mentality toward driving, why people choose not to wear gear is beyond me and it seems irresponsible. I wear a full face Arai, Icon gloves, Alpinestars leather with the pads, Draggin jeans with the pads, and Double H harness boots- all this stuff looks good enough to go into a restaurant with and also keeps me feeling safe, I don't even ride aggressive I just want to ensure I get home in one piece everytime.
Glad you're ok Jake, looks as though it could have been a lot worse. PM me if you need anything.
wow, great to hear you had the run off... and gear.
too bad about the bike and injuries but both will recover one way or another (rebuilding or totalling)
thanx everyone. xray here

Constant pain [thumbsup]
My own fault, in a sling and hard to type w/ 1 hand. The whole story will have to wait. Short version: On peekamoose rd going way too fast.

My brother's motto is DRESS FOR THE CRASH, NOT FOR THE RIDE. It's good advice.
Glad you survived. Heal quickly!
Peekamoose can be pretty sketchy in places Jake. Glad you're ok but there are better roads to light it up on. It could have been a lot worse too, there are a bunch of drop offs on that road and the creek.
Totally sucks dude, at least ECS have something to play with now. ;)
Get you some drugs and heal fast mate.
It's just those pesky superbikes. They have a way too easy way of going faster than you think you are and making you feel good about it. ;D Heal quickly.
