You crack me up.
Chris Collingsworth's (spl?) voice makes me want to hit the mute button.
With all the other football commentators out there, come on NBC
mitt
you know who was a good announcer? Rush Limbaugh.
People hate him which means he'll never be back, but he was good. Ignore everything else about him and just listen to his voice doing NFL... plus, he loves the game like nuts...
They some how pulled it off.
Here we go Steelers here we go!

They are the #2 favorite for this year behind those jackass Patriots:

Give Roethlisberger, or just about any NFL quarterback enough time, and someone will get open and he'll find them. I don't know what the Titans were thinking in the 4th and during overtime with the 4 man rush. It wasn't working and they stuck with it anyway.
Troy Polamalu had about the best first quarter I've ever seen on defense. I was pulling for the Titans but...it was still a pretty good game and I'm glad NFL and NCAAF are here again. [beer]

I didn't end up watching the end. I was watching over at my neighbors, went home to fix another cocktail, and well..........the wife had other ideas.
I had to catch the result this morning [thumbsup]

Friggin Newlyweds....
[laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
It's been almost a year.
I think the better comment is:
"Friggin no kids........"
Sum'biches had the Superbowl handed to them over the Seahawks.
Why you ask.
They have a bigger market to sell those frick'en towels to.
Truth is, people don't have to buy them around here.
They wrap us in them at birth at all the local hospitals, and we take them with us when we die.
It's our ticket for heaven... What, you don't have one?
;D
Go Stillers.
We're Knock Knock Knockin' on SEVEN'S door baby...
Or perhaps it's the Stairway to Seven? Hmmm.
Also.. Go Pens.

You might have a point there.....its hard to get the work done when two three year olds are banging on the locked door....

Word! Dont worry, the old super bowl curse is already kicking in. For those who dont know of the curse.....usually the team that wins the SB doesnt make it back the next year, sometimes not even to the playoffs. Generally you get one team per decade that breaks this rule(pats [puke]). the winning team usually suffers from player injury or just piss poor play. The stealers are no different. Polomullet is already out for three to six weeks with a sprained mcl. I think the stealers will struggle just to get into the wildcard slot.
^ still doesn't change the fact that that SB was FIXED!

I'm right there with ya'. I'm surprised the refs didn't just wear black and gold instead of black and white.
Look at the Steelers division - Browns, Bengals and Ravens. It's gotta be the easiest division in the league.
Is there any chance this is the year the Clowns I mean the Browns beat the Steelers ?
Back in the days of the" Cardiac Kids" the Browns could play the Steers tough !
Too bad about Troy, he is a good ball player.
Must have something to do with his hair ?
Dolph :)
I used to go to the Browns training camps at Lakeland Community College every summer. That was free and we couldn't afford the games. I thought I was hot shit when I shook hands with Brian Sipe. I grew up as a Browns fan, but I follow the Seahawks.
I was at a bar last night to meet up with some friends. I had my Steve Yzerman jersey on (Detroit Red Wings) and some douchebag in a Steelers jersey tried to start a fight with me because he's a penguins fan. make the beast with two backsin Yinzers. I doubt MOST penguins fans even had a favorite player between Lemieux's retirement and Crosby's draft. Pittsburgh's fair-weather support for their hockey club is pathetic. At least people still bought tickets for the steelers when they were crappy.
Thanks for letting us know who Yzerman played for.
Some people don't follow hockey. I'm so glad he's being inducted in the HHoF.

Yeah, there were a few years there we just dumped the Pens. At least the Pirates deserve what they are getting now. Crappy management, crappy coaching, trade every player of any skill. It will be 2-3 years minimum before we get a winning season again, I expect longer.
The Cleveland Indians are doing the same thing in the AL (dumping talent). It's crazy how people are able to sell tickets to some franchises.

tell us about it man...
i used to be a Pirates fan... fack.
I haven't been a baseball fan since I stopped playing (when I was 12), but the Indians looked like they had some key pieces in line before selling them to the Phillies.
