Having a problem with my login name and password.
Every day that I log in, it spits back that my password is incorrect (3 times), then asks me my password reset question. I reset the password (first time I changed it... since then I have left it the same), and I log in. First time I go to post, it lets me hit "Reply", and I fill in the text field. When I click "Post," it kicks me out as though I'm not logged in. I log in again, then it gives me a blank post form (no thread name, nothing), I navigate back to the thread I was in, try again, and it works.
What's the deal? It's like the site isn't retaining my user password. Same problem on both my work computer and home computer, both IE and Firefox.

I don't know the solution, but it sounds like a cookie problem between smf (the forum) and your computers.

Try to log out then delete browser history (specifically cookies) and then log in.
If that doesn't help, and you are getting to the dmf through a favorite link, delete that favorite and just type in address in address bar, then recreate your favorite.
Also, when you log in, make sure you check the option "Always Stay Logged In" when they are at the login screen. If you are logging on from the forum index, select "Forever" as the Session Length.
Not sure what else it could be, since it isn't a universal problem, it might be on the user end but caused by the upgrade from smf 1.1.8 to 1.1.10

It is confusing, and I don't know why smf did it this way, but there are 2 ways to log in.
I think the one you are using has a place to type a number of minutes, then below that,
make sure you click the box "stay logged in" or something like that.
If that still doesn't work try method 2
: when you logout, just below the vendors adds at the top of the page next to the date and time, click the (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Themes/default/images/upshrink2.gif) button. There should be a different login box with a drop down menu that lets you select "forever", and see if that helps.
