So, not only does my alarm not go off this morning, but I hop on the bike and notice it's real low. Rear tire is flat! Great start to a day

Did you tip your bike over in the driveway?
That was my worst start of a bad day.

Well, I rode (very slowly) to the gas station only to find no air! Ugh...
Noooo....a bad day is when you walk out to the parking lot, and your bike is gone

I almost did that yesterday. We have a tree with flowers on it that hangs over the part of the driveway where I put my bike after I pull it out of the shed. I put my foot down and step right onto a couple of flower bulbs that are mushy, slipped and caught it as it was halfway to the ground.

Normally I leave the side stand down roll the bike into the garage, and put the front wheel in a chock. I walk it out the garage standing on the non-stand side, and slowly lean the bike onto the stand.
On my bday in July, I rolled it out, but forgot I never put the stand down the night before, and slowly leaned it onto the DRIVEWAY :-[ Luckily no damage.

Yes, had that yesterday...
Front tire was mushy and a shiny metal torq screw was laughing in my face.
And the great thing about it is , I changed that tire 4 weeks ago for a new BT021 [bang]
Not even 300km on in...
one of our local guys hit a massive pothole that completely jacked up his front rim and killed the tire.
there was an LEO and another driver standing there with dead front rims and tires as well.
there was nothing marking the hole and nobody standing there gave a warning.
he had to leave his bike to go get a truck to take it home with.
when he got back the bike was gone.

That's a bad day.
I went out yesterday after work to ride the XL600, and saw that the hole in the rear wheel where the stem of the inner tube sticks out was gone, leaving just a hole.
Went to Cycle gear last night and bought a new inner tube.
Took a lunch today and went to Northern Tool and bought tire spoons.
Came home tonight and jacked the bike up, started to remove the wheel, and noticed that there are
two holes in the wheel, one with a nice shiny stem sticking out of it. [bang] [bang] [laugh]

That makes it a good day!
If you ever have "a bad day" because of a tube, you'll be ready [thumbsup]

Okay, you win. My doesn't seem so bad anymore [bow_down]
Yup, I'd rather have a flat tire, a damaged bike, a bike that won't start, a speeding ticket RATHER than ever to have to ever wake up again to find my motorcycle stolen.
That is a very bad day.
Worst than that would be getting into a serious accident, for which I probably then wished my bike was stolen instead.
