Or was it just a lot of hours/miles on it?
Title: Re: The Ducaholic mystery part of the day thread Post by: Porsche Monkey on September 17, 2009, 08:24:23 AM Any idea what caused the failure? Or was it just a lot of hours/miles on it? 100,000 miles but I dont know why it failed. Other turbo is fine but I am replacing them both as a precautionary measure. First failure I have seen like this. I've had junk stick inside those things and kill turbos on TDI's and some 1.8t's before. since it looks like a pregnant dog to get in there, I would throw one on if thats the case.
