called them. they may be looking at doing passenger pegs but in the future depending on demand i guess.

I just browsed the Oct issue of Sport Rider. There's an ad from Sato Racing showing rearsets for the 696. They come in silver, black, and gold. They look pretty good. Yep, optional passenger pegs are optional.

i actually like the woodcraft rearsets. but i'd only be interested if they had the passenger pegs.
for some reason i didn't like the look of the sato rearsets or their rear peg carriers...

passenger pegs are quoted at another 350+shipping. but seems you got a $50 dollar discount on retail.
