Title: Local painting question Post by: jani9000 on May 23, 2008, 03:39:50 PM Hey all,
I wanted to get my orangecycle painted by someone local that does a great job and is able to match the factory dark and put the ducati decal on straight. Cyclefinish would seem to be the place to go, but every time I call them I get an answering machine saying that they don't accept any new jobs. Can someone point me to another shop, or use their connections to get my tank and cowl squeezed in to Cyclefinish ;). It's kind of funny that the "Local Resources" thread only has one paint shop. There's always an apprentice, right? Or is this some kind of highlander situation, where there can be only one.. Oh, and if someone can sell me a pair of cyclecat clip-ons and a top triple, that would be great. They seem to be under a rock these days. Peace, Jani Title: Re: Local painting question Post by: Kaveh on May 24, 2008, 09:30:42 AM I got a cycle cat triple and clip-ons, but can't help you with finding a different painter. I used bobby kieth at cyclefinish...sucks that they are not taking anymore jobs, they are awesome! I guess the word has gotten out and he I'd slammed with work
Title: Re: Local painting question Post by: jani9000 on May 27, 2008, 12:17:56 PM I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a speedymoto triple clamp and motowheels clip-ons, so looks like you'll get to hold on to your cycle cat collectibles for a while longer. Thanks, though..

How are we going to resolve this? Duel at dawn? ;D Title: Re: Local painting question Post by: TCK! on May 27, 2008, 02:56:18 PM I think you guys should either both pick a team and do a "boat race" at the zeitgeist or "flip cup" to decide who gets to keep their post and who has to have theirs "merged" into the other persons thread.

Actually I was just going to troll this thread and see if someone posts something different here. Oh SNAP! Dude you got no answers. Just this banter. I got "Try Desmoto" from datv. But don't feel bad, now that we're all posting this nonsense - your post will move to the top of the page as if something really interesting was brewing here. Maybe Cyclefinish will read this and paint our machines!!! Good luck with your duc. PS we should try the Boat race at Zeitgeists Thurs.
