As much as I hate posting about this, I felt the need to out of respect for a friend, fellow rider, and ducati enthusiast:
Desmohio Member Bill Culp was involved in a fatal motorcycle crash this morning around 7:00a EST.
He was struck and killed by a minivan making a left turn.

Bill Culp was involved in a fatal crash this morning on his way to his new position with the Army National Guard, while riding his Ducati. Bill was doing two things he loved the most: riding his Ducati and serving his country. Bill served 18 months in Iraq and would have returned the next day, if needed.
Bill is survived by his wonderful wife Ester.
Bill Culp lived his life in total integrity, compassion, and love of country..
God Speed, Bill. Arrangements are being made and if anyone would like to get involved, please visit www.desmohio.com
Bill is on the far left of this picture below.

:'( very sad
Thank you everyone for your kind words. Bill was laid to rest this morning. Desmohio led the precession with around 40 bikes (and a few non-ducati's, but that doesn't really matter). The Ohio National Guard provided the military honor for Bill, along with the two awards he received.
RIP Bill. You will be missed by those that knew you, just had met you, and had never met you, but were honored by your commitment to this country along with stories of you from friends so we could know you.
God Speed Sgt Culp.

When i saw the photos I thought of the old adage that a photo speaks a thousand words. They are very moving.
A sad loss.
