Title: 53mm Clip-Ons Post by: Paegelow on September 23, 2009, 05:01:16 AM I'm getting parts together to swap 748 forks on to my 695, but I still need to find some 53mm clip-ons. Anyone know of some good ones you'd recommend? [beer]

Title: Re: 53mm Clip-Ons Post by: moto on September 23, 2009, 07:21:32 AM The SPEEDYMOTO Adj. Clip-ons: 53mm Black (http://www.motowheels.com/italian/myproducts.cfm?parentcategoryid=38%7CAluminum%20Billet&productID=6435&showDetail=1&categoryID=39|Ducati%20748%2D998%20Billet&vendoridtodisplay=0&filterFor=&collection=168%7CEuropean%20Motorcycle%20Parts) are very low on a 696 if you mount under the triple.
I's consider the taller SMP Billet Clip-on 2.5" Risers: 53mm (http://www.motowheels.com/italian/myproducts.cfm?parentcategoryid=38%7CAluminum%20Billet&productID=6701&showDetail=1&categoryID=39|Ducati%20748%2D998%20Billet&vendoridtodisplay=0&filterFor=&collection=168%7CEuropean%20Motorcycle%20Parts). To get angle adjustment, you can add these bars to the SMP clip-on risers: SPEEDYMOTO Replacement Angled Bar (http://www.motowheels.com/italian/myproducts.cfm?parentcategoryid=38%7CAluminum%20Billet&productID=6879&showDetail=1&categoryID=48|Most%20Late%20Model%20Ducati%20Billet&vendoridtodisplay=0&filterFor=&collection=168%7CEuropean%20Motorcycle%20Parts) Title: Re: 53mm Clip-Ons Post by: killerniceguy on September 23, 2009, 07:48:21 AM I have Speedymoto clipons under my triple, they are low but not Sport 1000 low.

Title: Re: 53mm Clip-Ons Post by: angler on September 23, 2009, 09:57:09 AM Multi-stroodle clips fit. I've got a pair of CycleCats that I have yet to install. They mount under and have a lot of rise. I found mine on E-bay, but somebody here had posted a company that was clearing out old CycleCat parts about 6 months ago and they had a bunch.
<edit> They still have them and the are cheap - http://www.oncycles.com/catalog.asp?r=1&pn=MCB00149 (http://www.oncycles.com/catalog.asp?r=1&pn=MCB00149) - $172. Title: Re: 53mm Clip-Ons Post by: rockaduc on September 23, 2009, 12:30:38 PM i really like my LSL's w/ 1.5 inches of rise.

Position is quite long and low, but great for handling. I also have some SWAT 53mm clip-ons with a 2.5 inch rise that I am not using. Let me know if you be interested in them.
