scary ride!!
last night i started home after a business trip to Bangkok its about 80 miles to Pattaya and after the first 10 miles it poured all the rest of the way I was soaked through the waterproofs in seconds as it was tropical thunderstorms the roads were over a foot deep in water at times ,visibility was sometime less than 3m ..I had to stop several times to take shelter but made it home 5 hours later. I was shaken but OK, saw 4 fatal accidents on the way ,all cars, 6 dead in all ,the road subsided killing 2 people on the motorway but i rode around the crater. The bike ran perfectly even though max speed last night was often 40mph , the bike is filthy ...will clean it tommorow , My damn headlight is useless I examined it today, dismantled the glass lens it is clean and shiney I have 12.8 v and the bulb is a Xeno/superwhite but It is crap.I really have to do something about it , maybe 100w bulbs and a relay,a clear Harley DavidsonD 7'' lens or an HID kit...I think it s the BOSCH lens thats the real limitation.
If I had known how bad the rain was going to be I would have gone a hotel for the night ..the weather report said no rain expected.

S4 Monster is excellent even in really crappy environment. ''MONSTERs ROCK''
For bad weather, yellow bulbs provide MUCH better visibility. May want to try them out before going to drastic measures.
even in good weather the Bosch unit seems crap, i have 3 ducatis and this one is much worse .
Bangkok? I believe I might have elected to stay there for the nite at least.

I checked the weather report at 5pm it was OK but by 6pm I was already out on the highway and 20miles along but then it all went wrong within seccond i was soaked thru.
If the weather report had been more accurate i would have checked into a Nanaplaza hotel and toured a few bars for the night.
