Title: Saw a Harley wreck on the freeway today. (somewhat graphic photos) Post by: Electron on September 26, 2009, 02:23:56 PM I just saw chrome and leather pieces fly all over ahead of me two lanes to the left and 20 ft ahead. My view was obstructed but the cars gave way and I saw an old man tumbling on the pavement at about 35MPH. Eastbound !-40 just before Carlisle.
Traffic was stopped at all lanes which I thought was pretty courteous considering how people can be azzholes behind the wheel. Snapped some pics while we were stopped though didn't feel the need to get out and surround the guy looking concerned like 20 others were doing. Hope he'll be alright. How do you crash going down an arrow straight road? Flat tire maybe? Braked too hard to avoid rear-ending somebody and locked a ( rear [roll] ) wheel? Hit construction debris? Who knows.
