I have a clear visor that got scratched across the front. It is not unbearable and I can still see but was wondering if anyone has tried to use plexiglass scratch remover to fix their visor. Any other fixes that someone could suggest would be great also. Thanks.

uh new visor... not too expensive.
You could try Brasso and a ton of elbow grease, but I've never tried it. I know it works on scratched iPod classics.
If you can feel it...Nothing works.
If not, Novus fine scratch remover or the Brasso does work on some lexan, but not all for sure. Test anything you use around the hinge first, so if it scratches it you don't have to look through it.
I could always purchase a new visor, not a big deal. The reason I asked was that I saw a plexiglass scratch remover product and that made me wonder if anyone tried something like that.

What does the remover cost?
Toothpaste! Though it has to be a non-gel type. An actual paste type. I have used it on everytin from watch crytals to windscreens to eyeglasses (not anymore! thanks Wavefront Lasic!) to just about anything you can think of. Depending on the scratch it can take awhile to get it all out....
