So from this thread, S2R Face lift (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=29072.msg504430#msg504430) i bring you pics of the updated S2R, and yes i took the unpopular vote because it was my first choice, my gut, and above all my bike.
from this, stock with tail chop:

Thanks DucPainter for the help with my questions!
I can't say i did this, as a friend of mine shot it in his garage. I got in the way enough to say i helped. I will take credit/criticism for the concept, and ultimate execution....
modified to replace with better pics, bikey still dirty though.
The flat orange looks good. [evil]
I can dig it. [thumbsup]
The flat orange and older style lettering go well together! Can I ask if you used a crankcase breather to clean up under the seat when you took the pods off? I'd like to do that to mine but go back and forth with what I've read, so I'm trying to find options.

i think you mean when i added the pods, and yes i added the crankcase breather to get rid of the oil breather catch thing. I made a plate to relocate the coil and hold the rectifier to clean the entire area up. the tabs for the side covers were removed also before i had the frame powder coated.

Next will be new exhaust, haven't decided on one off custom, or take an existing aftermarket and modify it. I like the exhaust idea of the two shot-gun style pipes but not the routing of the pipes, i think i could do a better tighter job.
thanks
RB
Thanks RB for the answer. That tail looks good, and I like how you put the seat release key on the bottom to remove that from the side view. [clap]
Def. dig the flat orange..
Awesome, I love the D cut out on the cowl
Looks great! But I can't believe you took it down to the frame and didn't do something with the spring...

I'm like Hollywood, not an original idea for the past twenty years.
The tank looks super sweet! All the little details are really nice and I like the fender done in black too.

Freaking.... Looks awesome man! Dang you work fast!
RB, thats an amazing looking bike you have there. :D
thanks for the kind words!
when you see it in person and RB keeps saying (with beer in hand) "pet the stripe...pet the stripe....it's smoooooth!" it's ok...he's actually talking about the tank on his motorcycle. It looks fantastic btw.

What is the seat you have on this?
I'll star off by saying that I'm not a fan of flat finishes, but your bike looks great and the overall look really works for me. Well done!!!

the Ducati Performance Gel seat. Cheapest aftermarket seat, super comfy(atleast to my butt, but, YMMV)

RB,
Great looking bike.
+10 on the finish.
I'm glad we live in different locations, because my bike WILL one day be orange and I don't really want the competition. Excellent work, it really looks great. [clap]
