As some of you know T grew some pumpkins this year...well they're really squash. They just call them pumpkins.

She didn't do too bad. ;D

What people aren't putting together is there won't be any pumpkins at DIMBY next year if it's held in July or August.

We're expecting you to freeze it for us.

The heaviest at the Topsfield, Ma fair was 1500#.

The one's we grew are no where near that big. Of course all we did was stick some seeds in the ground and watched them grow. ;D

My buddy Jim has a scale, or so he claims, that will work with my chain fall.

WHat is the ultimate destination for this behemoth?

we're gonna save seeds from the largest one for next year, and probly carve it for Halloween.

We have 2 other pretty large ones also that I'd like to sell...because there's no way they'll last till DIMBY to burn. [laugh]

A possibility is to bring one up to my neighbor to use as cattle feed.

Do you have any gravel suppliers near by?  They usually have a truck scale.  Those scales are pretty accurate.   ;)

I only see you needing to move the behemoth once using the transfer station scales, loaded then unloaded.
