Title: October Group Ride -- Early Morning Saturday Post by: Michael on October 01, 2009, 02:29:10 PM October has the best riding weather, but many people are too busy for long rides.
So a solution might be a nice, short morning ride -- something where we can leave early and be back before or around noon. Maybe meet early at the IHOP by ASU for breakfast, and take off from there. Or meet at a gas station and eat in our small-town destination. [coffee] About the Poll This is just meant to get an idea of when people are available and what route they would prefer. You can change your vote whenever you want. This is just an opinion poll, you're not agreeing to anything yet. Something like ... - Mogollon Rim on Oct 10 - Bartlett Lake on Oct 17 - And then combine Winkelman and Roosevelt loops on Oct 24 Although, we need to get some feedback from people to see who would prefer what when. Title: Re: October Group Ride -- Early Morning Saturday Post by: Michael on October 02, 2009, 11:34:43 AM Also, I was thinking it would be fun to have everyone over to my house for BBQ, maybe on October 24th.
Thoughts? Title: Re: October Group Ride -- Early Morning Saturday Post by: grandpa nate on October 08, 2009, 01:20:22 PM i is new to the group and realise my opinion means squat but i am also a pest...just love to ride.
lookin like the 24th option works for me best. Title: Re: October Group Ride -- Early Morning Saturday Post by: pennyrobber on October 08, 2009, 01:48:52 PM I just wanted to comment on the current poll. As it sits right now, each date has two votes and three of the destinations have two votes a piece. These things never end up conclusive. We have had the most luck just picking a day and a destination and people just show up.

Hell, Loveland Ski Area has already opened for the year. From what I hear, it's the earliest opening in 40 years. :o Title: Re: October Group Ride -- Early Morning Saturday Post by: IZ on October 08, 2009, 09:18:17 PM I was thinking it would be fun to have everyone for BBQ Hmmm..probably not M! :-X :-X :-X :-X I think he meant..WE'RE THE BBQ guys!! ;D Title: Re: October Group Ride -- Early Morning Saturday Post by: SheMonster on October 09, 2009, 09:05:55 AM This is the only time of the year that I would rather live in AZ than CO...it snowed in Denver today and the forecast for Saturday is highs in the 20s and more snow.
