Title: Plugs for a chopped Tail end ??? Post by: RVA Duc on October 03, 2009, 05:24:15 PM Does anyone have a better idea about what to plug the end of a chopped tail than a rubber cap ?? Links of cool nice metal ends or something?

They are pricey though once you factor in shipping from Germany. Post by: Jarvicious on October 05, 2009, 11:23:14 AM 3/4 inch copper plumbing caps work well. I did mine in black, but you could easily paint/coat them whatever color you want. I also had to grind off the engraved lettering, but you can't see it once the powdercoat filled in the gaps.

I was in Oakland CA and randomly found the two I'm using on the ground in a parking lot a few days after I did my tail chop. I'd read about doing such on this forum so I snapped 'em up quickly when I saw them, half expecting someone to yell out "hey buddy that's evidence!" Perfect fit.
