Title: O.H.S Post by: FIFO on October 03, 2009, 07:20:44 PM Slow long weekend here the monsters parked up under wraps. double demerit points and all its not going any where. :'( And to much time on the puter. But to my point. O.H.S A few recent post's buy Justo and Dezmonster have raised some serious questions that as a newbie my self was to afraid to ask. :-[ For one would be how to control your addiction to bling. Well asking for help here is like going to the pub and asking the alcoholic for help on how to stop drinking.[drink] I personally don't think bling is that bad of an addiction. But not to offend any one here [roll] I think you may have a serious problem when you name your bike. and not that bucket of bolts or heap of shit in the garage stuff. More the My little precious or girls name stuff. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] Here are a few numbers that could be of use. 1300 HELP Dial a mum 9477 6777 Anxiety disorders support 1300794992 Obsessive compulsive disorders 1300794992 Title: Re: O.H.S Post by: dragonworld. on October 03, 2009, 07:49:20 PM You forgot the 0055FINDAWOMANTOSCREWYOUOVERANDTAKEYOURMONEY number!! [roll]
It'll save you from the bling addiction. ;D [evil] [laugh] [clap] Title: Re: O.H.S Post by: Two dogs on October 03, 2009, 08:32:57 PM Yes Rob ,
it for me has been a slow trickle with regards to augmenting my Monster only tempered by the bank balance and feelings of guilt when another morning starts with a knock on the door and my daughter yelling out " its another package for dad" and the cheese and kisses eyebrow goes north while looking at our old telly and worn out leather lounge which is ten years past its used by date. Its strange as I have never gone in for personal jewellery or fancy hair cuts or cologne but Ill spend money on the bike without blinking........ go figure ? I think Justo got it right its this forum and its users that is helping fuel the addiction unless there is true evil afoot [evil] by suppliers of said bling who post up images and false threads to subconsciously make us covert this perversion. Nah I just want mine to be different , but different from what ? 99% of all the Monsters you see have some form of BLING. It was either buy a bigger bike or make the most of this one. Now where was that 1300 number I need help Title: Re: O.H.S Post by: mattyvas on October 03, 2009, 09:13:40 PM There is always [evil] a foot when you talk bling in this place.

DESMOWORKS, CACYCLEWORKS, MOTO WHEELS, RIZOMA, STM DUCATI PERFORMANCE, SHIFT TECH, SPEEDY MOTO, ARROW, NCR, AKROPOVIC, CASOLI MOTO, CARILLO, EPICYCLE, GOWANLOCH DUCATI, MARCHESINI, POGGIPOLINI, ROADROCKET, YOYODYNE. to mention a few, [moto] but! if you've run out of ideas for bike bling, how about spoiling yourself??? [beer] DAINESE, ARAI, ALPINESTARS, TIGER ANGEL, VANSON, GAERNE, SIDI, SHOEI, AGV, SPIDI. please note, i AM socially responsible, i didn't put the actual net address, but hey, they're easy enough to find. [evil] [evil] [evil] paul. [thumbsup] Title: Re: O.H.S Post by: mattyvas on October 03, 2009, 11:35:55 PM Now there's a list that could send you to the bank manager asking for $$$
Great list Paul. Title: Re: O.H.S Post by: Spider on October 04, 2009, 12:08:47 AM Now there's a list that could send you to the bank manager asking for $$$ Great list Paul. I'd approve that ;D Title: Re: O.H.S Post by: Betty on October 04, 2009, 12:29:16 AM I was thinking of responding to this in the thread I stole it from but it is just as appropriate here.
Hey Justo Dr Phil will help you LOL [laugh] You will have probably realized by now it would have be cheaper to buy a second hand blinged Monster that some poor bastard has spent his entire children's school fees on and then sold it for less than half its value. [bang] See you are already gone Rob. It would have been far cheaper if upon seeing this site to just run (ride) for the hills. The smart members are the ones we don't see anymore ... they join up looking for support about getting screwed by NFI but if they hang around they are going to be in even worse financial shape ... perhaps the guys with only a couple of posts to their names are a step ahead, they have seen the writing on the wall and are gone fasterer than an S4Rs with full exhaust, DP ECU and BSTs. Best option is to buy the bike and decide that it is actually a cheap option to buy the full termi system and then just happily ride ... but see, that doesn't provide entertainment for anybody else. But not to offend any one here [roll] I think you may have a serious problem when you name your bike. and not that bucket of bolts or heap of shit in the garage stuff. More the My little precious or girls name stuff. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] Ahh, see you still have much to learn. Naming your bike is protecting your investment (can a single word be an oxymoron?). As Richard Hammond says 'don't name a vehicle you are not willing to keep forever' (does anybody remember Oliver?) ... so name your bike and protect your investment. Just remember you have not wasted any money until you realise the loss ... if you don't sell, you haven't lost anything ... it is just an investment ... and if you only make investments that are perfomance enhancing, you can't lose. Was that the type of support you were after? Title: Re: O.H.S Post by: Spider on October 05, 2009, 10:58:58 AM My addiction to cocaine was so much cheaper. And healthier!!! yeah, everyone is so down on coke, but compared to fly-fishing, scuba diving, golf, mouintain biking and track racing...it's relatively cheap and quite sensible really. ;D Title: Re: O.H.S Post by: bazz20 on October 05, 2009, 02:38:57 PM yes spider my other passion cost more like the wife ;D and collecting Italian shot guns [bang]
