Title: Bike stutters over 60 mph
Post by: manni on May 24, 2008, 02:32:04 PM
     Please help,
I have a 1998 Ducati Monster M750.I had just wrapped my header with heat wrap, the next morning before I had a chance to ride, I found some one had knocked my bike over on to the left side. I fixed the damage but now the bike feels like it is not getting enough gas any time I have the throttle in the 8 to 11 clock position if I am going over 60 mph. I stutters and bucks. I installed new spark plugs and filled up with new gas, but I am still having this problem. I can not see it being the heat wrap but I do not know that much about motorcycles. Any ideas of what I should do next?

Thanks in advance.

It's not the heat wrap.

I'm guessing something in one of the carbs was knocked out of whack.

Maybe a float or a needle
